This is my journey of raising and breeding Betta Splendens (Siamese Fighters). Betta are traditionally found in SE Asian countries like Thailand & Malaysia. There are many different types of Betta available. They are also available in many colors, some are bold/full colored and some are mixed. It is a well known fact that some countries around the world engage in the sport of Betta Fighting, where two male Betta's a put in the same tank to fight it out. Surviving Betta is the winner, please note that i do not raise/breed Betta's for this purpose.

Mysterious Disappearing Betta Fry

Over the last week i have noticed that the fry count seems to be dropping.  Cannot figure where these fries are disappearing too until...........i witness how it was happening.  While cleaning the fry tank out last night i saw a few of the bigger fry ambushing the smaller fries and eating them.  I am down to only 16 of them now.  All the 16 are relatively the same size so hopefully they will not try to eat each other
